And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Isaiah 6:3
In this day of so much confusion I am afraid that we have also confused our doctrine as did Israel in the time of Jeremiah. The LORD said to ask for the old paths, the ones that honours and glorifies Him and Him alone. He said to walk in the old paths, the ones that encourage a holy life and a complete spiritual separation from the world. However the people said that they would not. Oh, how has this become modern Christianity! I have started this blog firstly; to encourage piety to Christ for the honour and glory for the LORD GOD Almighty that reigns on high with the seraphim crying, “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory,” and secondly: to encourage true Christians to return to the old paths, to the Good ways that exalt a holy and consecrated life for the honour and glory of the LORD GOD.

Piety? What is that word? Where did it come from? What does it mean? I am confused??? You mean believers are supposed to be Pious? Why have I not heard this before from the pulpits and churches I have attended??? Strange this word.Oh, here it is, defined by Webster as "reverence of the Supreme Being, and love of his Character" Now I know why I haven't heard much of this word...it calls for a different life style...quite so!!!
How the lost even in our churches balk at the suggestion that we are to live lives consecrated to the Lord. Preach on brother.
